About Us

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Lane and I do makeup, thus "Makeup Lane" was born! haha, To be more serious on my credentials, I am a makeup artist in West Michigan (Grand Rapids, MI) who specializes in all things glamour, whether that be bridal or special events, I love bringing out your natural beauty.

The number one question I'm asked while doing makeup is "how long have you been doing makeup?" and to be honest, I cant remember a time in my life where makeup wasn't a huge influence, even as a kid inventing makeover games, I cant even tell you how many times I got in trouble trying to wear makeup to school as a kid. As I got older the YouTube makeup community was beginning to bud and I finally felt a calling to something that came incredibly natural to me. By the time I was 24 I had won 2 national makeup competitions and began advertising services.

Over the last decade I have been on and off in the beauty service community of West Michigan and for several years I helped assist other Makeup artists for bridal parties where I went through "glam boot camp" and I loved it.
